You posted too soon. We’ll be up 21-3 at halftime and should win this by a larger margin.

Considering 60% of our starting OL is injured or out, I’m actually relatively happy with this performance so far. Not perfect, but better than our crappy showing against Duke.

Exactly right. Let’s get through the second half without any more injuries. Get everyone healthy during the bye week. The season starts on Sept 29th.

Just get the W, get the OL healthy and as ready as possible for Michigan.

Lots of opportunity in the Big Ten West; possibly more than last year...; have to try to take advantage of a year like this where the division is wide open and a 7-2 B1G season can take it...

Agreed...the Duke game means nothing. Beating Purdue was huge. The lights come on vs. Michigan. I trust Fitz will have the Cats ready.

The W is not in the bag at this point. When Akron fixed the presnap penalties they started moving the ball consistently, and surprise, they are outdoing is on the deep ball. And again, offense is sputtering into the second half for the 3rd week.

Once again, the fastest guys on the field are on the other team. Its hurting us now on defense as we can't keep up with their WRs.

The question is can we actually score points in the second half of a game. It’s like we forget a football game consists of four quarters / two halfs

Even on D, we lack speed. We just can't seem to recruit any speed. AWalk was the only guy that really had serious Power5 speed for his position.

By the time the Big Ten schedule starts we will be ready to get serious about a full 60 minute game. Still working into that. Trying to score at the end of the first half was a positive step. Let’s see if we try to score here in the third.

We officially suck. Can't do anything against Akron on offense or defense. Fitz is also sucking. Try to kick the FG for God's sake. Instead, throw a pick 6. Nice.

Our play calling and play design fool exactly no one. Can’t believe senior QB throws 97 yard pick six for a 10 point swing which just may end up deciding the game....

Yup and if we took care of business maybe we don’t have Thorson and Larkin in right now risking injury. Guess we will not be able to take advantage of a down B1G West this year because we’re down yet again as well.

We will most likely end up winning (knock on wood) but we are now about 9 straight quarters dating to the second half of Purdue of some terrible play. It’s not overreacting, it’s serious concern. From execution to just some terrible, boneheaded coaching decisions.
