FSU fires AD Michael Alford amid looming football questions

Florida State fired athletic director Michael Alford on Monday as the Seminoles grapple with looming decisions about their football program.

So it was Mike Alford that forgot to pay the power bill!

Florida State is the most dysfunctional athletic department in the Power 4. They want to join the SEC or Big 10, but would probably be 4th choice at best of the ACC schools if either the SEC/Big 10 expanded (UNC, UVA, Miami, maybe NC State, Va Tech would be ahead of them). That plan of hiring a new football coach without an AD always works out well, we got some experience!

There's probably 8 other SEC jobs he'd leave us for with OU being a no-doubter.

I like Selmon. I feel like the Gameday experience on campus is good. And if the football team exceeds expectations - we've got a chance to have a really good athletic year (academic calendar). MSU's social media has been great so far this season, IMO.

We thought Step 1 in firing Lemonis was Selmon after he replaced Cohen also, but noooooooooo, we had to endure 3 more seasons of that crap
