In color, it's actually a gold-on-blue, so maybe he's showing out for Ramsey H.S.?
I wasn't, but they occasionally used to let me slip through the borders to go to Jimmy Reed's on Route 17 North almost 25 years ago ... Good times.
The closest I've seen to the Block R in North Jersey is Ridgewood HS. Colors are maroon - white - black. You do see a lot on route 17.
I actually just saw a shot on NJ.com yesterday, and it looks like Randolph uses your Block R (It was in a story about Delbarton trying to get out of the SuperMegaNorthJerseyCatholicMonolith football conference, or whatever it's called now). They're blue and white, but it's the same R. Robbinsville uses it too.
Not a ton but more than any other schools magnets or stickers. I proudly have in on both cars up here in Ramsey.
Maybe we should start with football camps at any HS In NJ that has the Block R. Doesn't have to be a variation of red, but we could compile a list of any school that is interested.
A lot of Block R's here in Saddle Brook. Home to Steve Beauharnais and Steve Longa! Amazing this little town produced the last 2 Middle Linebackers.
I've seen blue and white block R magnets for the Ranney School in Tinton Falls, but they don't have a football team.
Elmwood park is true Rutgers territory. If you're D1 from ep, you go to RU. We even send valedictorians to Ru. Bunch of houses with RU flags waving. It's a beautiful thing
