Hevesy was Dak's recruiter. He's also the lead guy on a few other players that turned out pretty good, so saying he "doesn't recruit" and needs to be fired has been built into sort of a false narrative. I think the guy has a personality that rubs some people the wrong way, so whatever lack of success he's had on the trail probably has more to do with that than lack of effort. You want lack of effort, see: Joe Lee Dunn.

I'm not saying I'd necessarily have Hevesy in every Mama's house, but somehow he has found a little success. He also seems to be a pretty good on field coach. Our OL do generally get better as time goes on.

Listen I love Dak. I really do but he is not
Going to control the way I think about Hevesy and his non recruiting ***. Scott Lashley and the other legion of recruits that have been lost by him. Didn't Deon Mix and his family kick him out of the house? If Dak told you a **** sandwich taste good would you eat it? Should have asked him off the record what he thought of Hevesy and that BS O-line his senior year that held the team hostage. 16 sacks given up against Bama and Ole Miss. First and Only time I ever saw Dak lash out a little at Dan Mullen was in the Bama game. Mullen was trying to tell him something in the 2nd half of the Bama game and Dak looked like he was saying I've been on my *** all game and I can't do what your asking bc I don't have time. Never will like the bum for that so you aren't convincing me he's worth a damn.
