Great great game! Shaheen is so cool. Big things ahead for him. Maryland is looking for a coach. I kind of hope they don’t get him. It’d be hard to root against him. I know there’s talk of Willard to MD, and Shaheen to Hall, but I don’t think MD would fall for that. I’d love to get him to RU, but we’re set with a great coach. St Pete plays like us but with more fire in their belly. We slacked off towards the end.

He signed a lifetime contract so his buyout is $60 million forever as long as he wants to coach. If he is fired this year next year 10 years from now it will still be $60 million

I have a feeling if Shaheen ended up at Seton Hall- hed make them a real sturdy program. Their good now, but I think he'd up the success there

ive consistently said we better hope willard stays at SHU forever because if he leaves Sha takes that job and hes the real deal. Many agree with this almost universally. Crazy part is those here that agree with it recognize shu has had more recent success than RU but would still say were better off with pike than sha lol

Foul shots win games. Eventhough UK outscored the Peacocks from the foul line 23-17 they missed 12 foul shots for 65%. SPU made the most of theirs going 17/20 for 85%.

Also they held their own off the glass only being out rebounded by two.

This was worst case scenario for the smurfs.
MD may have found their coach. Of course, shoe could pull a nova and try to push Willard to another school and hire Holloway. Wonder if Knight may be a candidate then at SPC if Holloway leaves. He can do so much better than the little place in south orange.

This may be the biggest upset in ncaa history .
Even bigger than UMBC over UVA in the 1-16 game …that UVA team didn’t have all 5 star players like Kentucky does

I'm sure I sound old now but in a way its sad that every big moment now you see the people participating with the phone up in the air trying to capture it. I get trying to capture the moment but it just seems like you are missing the moment if you are trying to capture it.

Anyway, that was a great win for them, something those guys will remember the rest of their lives.

As a regular poster to Rutgers Rivals and a fan of both schools I am truly aim truly in a great state of mind…it really doesn’t feel real that my Alma Mater Saint Peters has pulled this off.. i am grateful to have watched the game in person…Murray St is on a 21 game winning streak and will be an extremely difficult game….hey if we do…Philly is next…go Peacocks and thanks to everyone here posting nice stuff about us…side note I don’t have my Saint Peters degree if it isn’t for a Summer session course at Rutgers on College Ave which at the time was hard to pull off so I always feel connected to the RU community…

But it’s cool to have pics and videos of these cool moments . Remember pretty much all of these kids are on social media and to many of them socializing on social media is more important than socializing in real life. Social media is good and bad and many people are on “fluoxetine”because of it ! I feel lucky I grew up and was an adult in the time before social media.
On another note , I got tons of pics in my phone . But I don’t get them printed often at all. Definitely got more prints in the olds days off my Kodak at the photo mat.
