We gave them that game in 2012. Should have won easily but kept shooting ourselves in the foot with poor coaching and execution.

Last Schiano bowl was pinstripe as well against Iowa St in 2011.

A nice tie into the first two bowls in GS 1.0.
They also have us moving up 6 spots to #41 in the nation ahead of such schools as Mississippi St, Miami and (GULP!) Clemson.

I’ll take Phoenix in a heart beat over that phony football set up in the Bronx any day.
Us getting to 7 or 8 wins should get us to a better Bowl.
