I didn’t think that this State team had a very high ceiling going into this season, and I still don’t. However, even though our big play ability may be limited, I do think we’re a fundamentally sound team for the most part.

If we limit turnovers, O line miscues, and penalties, we’ll likely win 7-8 games including this one comfortably. If we don’t do those things, we’re gonna have to scratch and crawl to 6 wins. Memphis has some serious playmakers on offense, but we’ve seen this movie a million times. Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Michigan, Memphis… everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the mouth by the SEC. Don’t beat ourselves, and we’ll be fine

Yeah they had 14,000 people at their first game. There will be a decent crowd, and they will have us to thank for it. That's why they jacked up ticket prices for this game.
