This is a sad time. I have family in Marrowbone. A spot in the road. Condolences.Yes he was, Marrowbone to be exact. He will be returned to the banks of Marrowbone creek per his wishes
I have been traveling the last couple of days .Thank you to all the board members for the kind words.
I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that I won't be able to talk UK and golf with Bill anymore
I guess he was just too high strung, the strain was more than he could bear
Well done, I would expect no less from you(In memoriam)
This is funny...

A great fan long time poster. Rest well sir.Cat fans are one less in number, we lost KyfaninNC last night at about 11 pm. He died due
to complications after surgery. We were friends for over 40 years. He was a person who spoke his
mind and was true to his beliefs. A near scratch golfer at 70 and a fun guy to be around. I will
miss him and our phone conversations after every game. He didn't watch the games after
a certain point last season but was going to watch this season, I wish he had gotten the
chance to do so.

Sorry to hear this Doc. I’ve stayed off RR nearly all summer and had no idea until today. I saw his obituary in the local paper today. Didn’t know his first name and had never met him, to my knowledge, but figured it out soon as I read the obituary. Yes, he spoke his mind and told it as it was. My kind of person. We bantered back and forth lots of times on here talking about the area and people here who we both knew and grew up around. Lastly, praying for you as I know what it means to lose a close friend. Like I said, never met him but still feel as if I knew him somewhat.Cat fans are one less in number, we lost KyfaninNC last night at about 11 pm. He died due

I believe the last banter he and I had on here we were talking about Marrowbone Creek. We both grew up on its banks, and I’ve spent all of my 61 years on its banks. We both agreed our ashes would flow down that creek one day. Hit me hard today when I found out he had passed.RIP man. He was from glasgow as well, damn! Rest easy @KyFaninNC.
Where in hell do you go to Funerals? At the local bar. I have never heard that at any Funeral.I have absolutely NEVER heard that song played at a funeral. And I've been to a bunch of them. That's really odd IMO.
The obit had a great pic of Bill, he was a good guy. I heard a funny Cal story while onSorry to hear this Doc. I’ve stayed off RR nearly all summer and had no idea until today. Yes it was a great pic. And I really felt I had some memory of him, but not sure. He did talk with me once of playing softball at Marrowbone park in the past, which I did also. But we had lots of age difference, so not sure. The obit had a great pic of Bill, he was a good guy. I heard a funny Cal story while on
vacation in NMB and found myself thinking wait till I tell Bill then at almost the same time thinking well damn, I can't tell him. Even if we win it all this year t is going to be a tough season for me.
He played a lot of softball, He and Dennis Cawthorn were on the SKF/Tyson teams that won a couple of titles in the industrial state or national tourneys.Yes it was a great pic. Wow! Had no idea. I’m sure we played against each other at one point. I played for probably 15 years, but I was 9 years younger than him. As a side, we talked about meeting at Jone’s restaurant just a few months ago for a meal. He didn’t know that it had shut down because of Covid. Miss talking to him about fish gigging, Peabody, and motorcycles etc. He was a blast, and is already missed. He played a lot of softball, He and Dennis Cawthorn were on the SKF/Tyson teams that won a couple of titles in the industrial state or national tourneys.
