Yes, he hoped last season was a wake up call for Cal, he thought this season might
be a fun one. On Wednesday (two weeks ago) he ask for his cell phone(last day he was communicating) I'm pretty sure it was to check the board and see my last text to him) He was ready for a new season.
Is there any way you can post his obituary? I would like to offer my condolences to his family. He was a solid poster. RIP @KyFaninNC

Cat fans are one less in number, we lost KyfaninNC last night at about 11 pm. He died due
to complications after surgery. We were friends for over 40 years. He was a person who spoke his
mind and was true to his beliefs. A near scratch golfer at 70 and a fun guy to be around. I will
miss him and our phone conversations after every game. He didn't watch the games after
a certain point last season but was going to watch this season, I wish he had gotten the
chance to do so.

Condolences to you Doc. Sounds like you lost a close friend. Prayers with you.

So sorry for your loss, @docholiday51. I hadn’t realized you guys were family but it doesn’t surprise me. You’ve both always been really solid. I’m praying for everyone he left behind and hoping to meet him in glory.

Too depressing! Even though the lyrics may be a bit direct, there is a reason "Another one Bites the Dust" is one of the most common played songs at funerals. It makes people smile and remember the good times.
My first reaction is that you’re one sick mf’er but after googling it, it appears you are correct.

Definitely one of the better posters on here. Will send thoughts and prayers to him, his family, and his friends. Terrible he had to suffer last season with such bright horizons in our immediate future. But I know he’ll be watching on a much bigger screen beyond the heavenly gates.

I’m so sorry Doc, he will be missed. R.I.P. @KyFaninNC . Enjoy all the past UK greats you will meet at the pearly gates.

I could see it at a celebration of life event but not during a service.

Oddly enough, I looked it up right after I posted that. The cast of Monty Python did not attend his funeral because they didn't want it to become a media circus and wanted his family to be able to have a private ceremony. The singing came at a public memorial 2 months later.

Sorry to hear about @KyFaninNC passing. I valued his opinion and will miss his insight. We are about the same age, so it does make one ponder what could be.

I think even surgeons think this sometimes and become complacent. My grandmother died after “routine” gallbladder surgery. Look up statistics from people who die due to medical malpractice, it’s pretty staggering.
Surgeons aren’t Gods. Mistakes happen. For them though mistakes cost lives.
