Sad news on GCB

Sad to here about the passing of Gold Card Bill. The board lost another great Mountaineer and member. He and Frank (who we also lost several yrs ago) were great guys that shared lots of info and were part of the "list serve" group from back in the late 1990's that became part of a family with the message board. RIP

Frank Offutt and my late wife, Monnie Turkette Olesky, were classmates at Williamson High. Frank was a very intelligent and great human being.
Just like Bill Noel.

Can we please clarify which GCB we are talking about?

Are we talking about the GCB who hosted a radio show?
Or Another GCB?

I don't want to post any names cause I sure don't want to say anything false and get some crazy rumor that would be painful started & perpetuated.

I don't know anything about a radio show but just always assumed GCB ment Gold Card Bill.

Yup, that was him. Football call in shows and SWSL, Bill was first up.

Bill was a little ornery. I always suspected he mispronounced JaJuan Seider's name six different ways in a call just to mess with Caridi, but I could never get him to fess up. That one went on from the time JaJuan was first being recruited until this season.

Bill was one of the best. He will be missed.
