Saban whining about refs, how comical...

Saban fell for a classic high school trick. Love it.

[TrueMaroonGrind]

He has no self awareness. They get everything to go their way and the one time they get tricked he wants more help. Everyone will point and laugh at him except Paul.

About the punt thing....yeah, Saban got played there, and he needs to man up and accept it instead of crying about the officials.

I believe he has a gripe about the FG at the end of the first half, though. That was BS.

The only thing I don't absolutely love about Bama getting 17ed by referees is that it benefited Auburn

[The Peeper]

Yeah I've got no sympathy for him but they got screwed on the FG @ the end of 1st half

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

He has a much bigger case to complain about the end of the first half. No way would Auburn have gotten that kick off unless it happened in that exact circumstance of having a review. Bama should have asked for time to substitute.

The end of the first half was a correct ruling, but it exposed some unfairness in the timing/replay rule. If the clock operator had correctly left 1 second on the clock at the end of the play, there was almost no way that Auburn could have gotten its FG unit lined up before the clock started again.

Side note: I went to High School with Auburn's clock operator.

Can you imagine the posts on this board if we had a game end because Moorhead and Joey Jones couldn't properly substitute the punt return team?
