Report: Nick Saban will be on the field to coach the Crimson Tide tomorrow


Based on a tweet from Desmond Howard, Nick Saban may be on the field coaching the Crimson Tide tomorrow.
Just a few days ago, the school shared that Saban tested positive for COVID. If Howard’s tweet is accurate, that would likely mean that the second test to confirm the diagnosis came back to show a false-positive test.
Yesterday, we asked about the possibility of Saban coaching the team virtually, and now it seems like he may be taking the field with them.
Tide Sports had the following to share about the SEC’s protocols following a positive test:
The SEC’s health and safety protocols, released over the summer and modified most recently on Monday, state asymptomatic individuals may receive a second test within 24 hours of their original positive. Should that second test be negative, the individual should receive two additional tests at least 24 hours apart; if all three are negative, and the individual remains asymptomatic, they are released from isolation and immediately cleared to return to athletics activity.​

Saban and Alabama will face Kirby Smart and Georgia tomorrow night at 8pm EST on CBS at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
