Very good reputation based on what our WSU visitor has said. Nice bio on the WSU site.

He played football for Sioux Falls-- on two NAIA championship teams. Not in the bio: The coach of that team is now head coach at Fresno State.

Any poster from Sixpack would have been an upgrade, but I do think this guy is gonna be a good one.

Sounds like he's demanding, pushes players and is all about putting in the work while not getting praised over it.

He'll get some praised here at State for sure.

Watching players running in sand, tugging rope, and picking up logs gives me painful flashbacks to that awful S&C coach Sherrill had for a couple of years.

Apparently, he has a child that had a 3 year battle with leukemia and beat it. He and his wife have 3 children. He takes his family life very seriously, and considers the players to be part of the fam.

Mike Grant?

There wasn’t anything at all wrong with him for the majority of the time. We were probably the most physical team in the SEC from 1997 - 2000. Everything just fell apart at the end program-wide starting in 2001.
