I was pretty much out there last year with the fire Hobbs mantra. I lost faith when the team quit last season.
I do agree that the most important thing is the result. But for those who have come to loathe said writers, I am guessing they would not like to see them get the credit. Count me as one of them.
That figure represents losses at current ticket prices. It will be more when you factor in that they'll have to lower prices to attract existing fans.
As with most, people look at the overall record but fail to discount the first 4 years at the helm when Schiano's teams were a disaster due to what he inherited. Take away those first four years and remove the year Legrand was paralyzed. Do the math and tell me his record. People fail to read between the lines. He took a program very similar to what we have now. Turned them into a winning team. Brought them to many bowls over his short time here and injected enthusiasm into the program. All with Big East paltry money and substandard facilities. So yes there is hope. I'm not sure why you would come here being a WVU supporter to ridicule our fanbase. Does it make you feel better at the end of the day? Manlier? Help diffuse WVU's own sucky season this year? Compensate for inadequacies? Whatever floats your boat but come here to be a douche and you will get the reading/math comprehension, brushing your teeth, and my favorite, first cousin as your wife.
