No, it hasn't been completely determined yet. That's what,"we still have some digging to do, " means. If the "spy" was put in under false pretenses, it is not legal. What's truly amazing is that Trump was not made aware of it. If they thought someone in the trump election committee was a potential spy, he should have been made aware of it. It is also amazing that with all the money from russians going into the Clinton Foundation, people known for quid pro quo and I'm talking about Clintons, why was there no "spy" in that campaign? So far, only the clintons have dirty dealing that we are aware of.

But from the information he’s seen, the act was perfectly legal, correct?

We were told Hillbag was totally legit, too.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

If the FBI did not have a criminal warrant to put CI's, also government contractors, within the Trump sphere before July 2016 for observation and/or entrapment, then it is not perfectly legal, no matter whatever whoever says.

All the intelligent folks in the GOP have been neutered by Trumps fan boy base, it's a Witch Hunt by god!, Donnie is the only honest man in DC! Canada is a threat! He loves hanging out with Dictators cause he hates checks and balances, the rubes would gladly hand him the keys to the kingdom.

Lindsay Graham, “I haven’t looked at the evidence but I have seen no indication that a confidential informant was placed inside the Trump campaign that acted as a spy,”

So if the FBI says they weren't spying on Trump just exactly when did they plan on telling him he had been infiltrated by Russians?

They still won't tell us the reasons why they placed the campaign under surveillance or why they needed a FISA warrant to do more than what that surveillance was already up to?

It's the most closely guarded secret in all of Washington DC.
