Disagree. That's old school thinking. Just about every major program plays more than one QB. Could've easily sat CL and bring him back next week
Current QB is not the answer. Unfortunately it doesn't appear we have any better. At least not anyone who has been on campus for more than 6 months.
Not sure I agree with you guys asking to see a new guy at QB. If the coaches still think Laviano is their guy, he needs the snaps to familiarize himself with the new offense. They should only make the change if they've decided that Laviano is not the answer going forward.
Laviano will have plenty of chances to get acquainted with the new offense with the next two easy (I hope) games. The chance to see another QB play against a real team, albeit against their 4th string players and water boys, will not come back for weeks.
Our starters are not even good enough to score TD on their back-ups.

Alright.. many of us here think Ash should play another QB.. more than one maybe. But perhaps Ash needs time between games to reflect and analyze. Maybe he cannot pull the trigger during a game in hopes that Laviano might show us something.
We'll know if he is as stubborn as Flood in the coming weeks.

Washington has most of their second teamers in there... and we can't even see our backup QB
First game as a head coach, taking over a dumpster fire, traveling cross country, playing a top 15 team. I won't be taking too much away from this game so far as indicators of the rest of the season. Unfortunately I expected this would be ugly and I wasn't wrong.

probably rewarding guys for what they did since hire and not last year. as he gets his game tape, changes will b made. Change of culture, New offense, new defense, new special teams, same level of talent. similar results until our guys learn Offense completely, etc. thus is a rebuild process that will take time. wants different types of players from size/strength. need patience, which is not a strong suit for mist of us fans

If Ash is not going to get a look at a backup QB during a real game.. why not see if the FG kicker and team has its act together?
The only thing to say is that all the criticism of our QB from prior years still applies.
Okruch should focus on tackling and assignments instead of that stupid arm swinging thing. Maybe we should drop football for synchronized swimming.
