********. Losing is not surprising. 24-0 first quarter is pretty surprising. This didn't happen once last year, and we were pretty bad.
Rutgers gave up a 34-10 second half lead to a putrid Maryland team last year. At least Washington has a good coach with a half of a brain with good players. It may take a while for Ash to clean up Flood's mess.

If Ash is a real coach, he'll recognize that practice is not real time and he'll replace Laviano. As for the D, how does a D coach not make adjustments to the hurry up????

Don't disagree. And yet it has nothing to do with the point. Exactly 0 people here predicted a lifeless, out-manned, out-coached 24-0 1st quarter.

Ok, we need a drive, make it 24-7 and bring it to halftime, regroup and make a game of it.

OK bad 1st Q. But we are playing them to a 0-0 2nd Q progress every so slightly. And Laviano is finally getting rid of it quickly. Hicks now in.
