24-3 RU. Grind it out ground game while Wimsatt attempts no more than 15 passes.

You will know after first 3 running plays of game
8 yards
7 yards
14 yards
Then it’s whatever RU wants to score

Run and run the clock down to get to Wisconsin as fast as possible.

Game over by 6:25pm , but hopefully over by 4pm competitive wise

No chance. But it might not be as much down field passing as some of our fans hope to see. I think the focus will be on the short game / screen / bubble routes that haven't been incorporated into Gavin’s game much yet. Normally this game would be a waste of time, but in this case, it offers a game speed opportunity for lots of repetition on short game execution. Which we really need.

Passing down field on long vertical routes is a colossal waste of time against Wagner. It might even be counter productive because our guys will find space that will never be there against any other teams. I’d much rather win 30-7 and start seeing some crisper, better placed short passes by the end of the game than 52-7 with Isaiah catching six 50+ yard long balls. The score doesn’t much matter.

A more interesting poll is, how many RU touchdown passes and passing yards. I predict 1 passing TD and 125 yards. Schiano won't risk GW losing confidence via aggressive/unsuccessful passing AND not wanting to show much more to Wisky.

Who’s gonna want to tackle Brown in second half as he works his way back into a 10-15 carry RB , this after trying to tackle Monangai in the first half. 🤕🤕

We threw for 4 TDs (3 diff quarterbacks) and 257 yards against them last year so…. I doubt it. Wagner takes stinking to a whole different level.

I want to see lots of passes to the RBs and tight ends. I can’t imagine that’s not in the cards as this is what Gavin needa work on. I doubt we’ll take a ton of deep shots downfield but not for the reason you suggest. There’s just no point when there are other things for Gavin to work on where the level of competition is less important than simply developing game flow.

Didn't the team hang 66 on them last year with a far less effective offense? I'll go with RU 63, Wagner 0 with mass RU fans tailgating in the lots in the 2nd half as we will hang at least 42 in the 1st half.

This. I will plan for a pre and post-halftime tailgate.

ETA I will have to adjust my alcohol consumption because I will only have 1/2 the time to sober up.

Really? He will have a ton of time in the pocket and has shown he can make some pretty good throws against the big boys- those sideline passes against the #2 team in the country, hitting guys in stride all season. We can let GW air it out without showing anything new that we haven't already done. It is the perfect time to build the confidence.
