Rutgers vs UM - 1st Half Game Thread!

[Block R]

A few quick words about Grant and then Millen immediately...'I'd like to go back to that Peppers touchdown'

[sick]

[soundcrib]

Uhh peppers TD was two plays ago. We just scored!

[drewbagel423]

What did Millen say about Peppers during Grant's TD?

[miketd1]

if you took a shot for every TWENTY times peppers was mentioned, you'd already be passed out

[DHajekRC84]

I noticed that Flood will even change the color of his Sharpie before making a change at QB. He went with red today vs, the usual black note taker.

[RutgersJoe]

Run back by Grant, so let's show the replay of Peppers' TD

[MGSA99]

I bet the Michigan fans will applaud when we finally complete a pass.

[S.B. Crumb]

Now onside kick

You called it lol. Too bad we couldn't execute

[Rufaninga]

I like the call for onside

[RUinPAC10land]

Janarion Grant scores touchdown and announcers are still talking about Peppers.

[SouthJerseyRU]

good call with the onside, bad result.

[RUSK97]

Ok so Grant returns a KO return for a TD but they highlight Peppers' run from earlier- ok

[bac2therac]

The announcers are busy performing fellatio on Peppers

[Rufaninga]

Need a stop here, come on D

[mikebal9]

So on the replay of the Peppers TD, Millen says #20 "got a little push" on our defender. Does he want to mention that it was clearly in the back?

[Sir ScarletKnight]

A few quick words about Grant and then Millen immediately...'I'd like to go back to that Peppers touchdown'

[sick]

Seriously. I'm half expecting him to talk about Peppers somehow being the reason for that onside kick not working.

[RU-Choppin-Ohio]

They showed the Peppers TD again...did Gause get pushed in the back?

[Caliknight]

No clip on the Peppers touchdown?

[scarletbergen]

What a stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid call! Why not just wave white flag and beg for mercy!
Barchi, Hermann and Flood, perfect together!

[devoted2ru]

God, like taking candy from a baby. HOW open can a receiver be?????????

[CodyRU]

I'm sitting here laughing my *** off at our D

[Caliknight]

Bles just had his eyes closed on that blown coverage. Guy was right in front of him and he doesn't see it.

[brgossRU90]

It's not about the Xs and Os...except with mostly the same jimmys and joes as last year Harbaugh has much better team.

[RUMcMahon]

Is Turay just being doubled every play? Where the hell is the pressure

[Rufaninga]

Nice breakup there

[Blitz8RU]

At least he's trying something. We are going to get blown out. Might as well go down fighting.

[ru75]

wow just wow

[Sir ScarletKnight]

"Rutgers has just lined up for the play, here's the-Oh WAIT! OH MY GOD! JABRIL PEPPERS IS WALKING DOWN THE SIDELINE! I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES! HE'S LIKE A GOD STALKING HIS PREY!"

I can see him saying that. That's depressing.

[Ridge 22]

Other than offense and defense, we look good today

[miketd1]

That play happens because Peppers was on the sideline taking a drink

[brgossRU90]

While I applaud fudd trying something different why did he try something with a good chance if handing the ball to michigan at midfield ffs?

[S.B. Crumb]

It's not about the Xs and Os...except with mostly the same jimmys and joes as last year Harbaugh has much better team.

Right, how do some people not realize how much coaching matters considering the very opponent we're playing?

[zappaa]

We need to clean up some stuff

[lighty]

Why do people continue to act like Julie hired Flood?

Meanwhile RU has a team in a championship game tomorrow. When was the last time that happened? Yeah, she's a horrible AD

[miketd1]

It's not about the Xs and Os...except with mostly the same jimmys and joes as last year Harbaugh has much better team.

They have an actual QB under center. That's pretty significant. Just look at us when we have a guy who can't challenge the defense.

Best post of the thread.

The guy pushed Gause in the back....how can that be mossed?

[Caliknight]

It's not about the Xs and Os...except with mostly the same jimmys and joes as last year Harbaugh has much better team.

It's about both. This is the perfect example. Michigan with virtually the same team gets beat by Rutgers. They get a real coach and all of a sudden their 4 and 5 star players look like 4 and 5 star players.

It isn't just recruiting. It is coaching too. You need both to win at this level.

[Caliknight]

No clue. It is was right in front of the ref. And Millen just glosses over it saying the guy just "got a push". Yea, that push is illegal.

[lighty]

At least the onside kick was something new from Flood. I didn't know he had it in him
