Rutgers vs UM - 1st Half Game Thread!

[bitnez]

pause the video if you have a dvr

Done. Thx

[bac2therac]

Lol at the Rutgers defense

[T2Kplus10]

Not sure if that TD will stand, but that is how a real QB makes a play - something out of nothing!

[devoted2ru]

DAMN! RU whiff's on him when they have him.

[miketd1]

Everyone is over pursuing and leaving huge lanes on the back end.

[BillyC80]

Ruddock turns a sack into a TD, damn

[bitnez]

Way to wrap up guys

[RU206]

They can't get a big 3rd down stop

[Rufaninga]

Can Rutgers run a play like that? Fake reverses and throw to a screen.

We called that play many times this season. Lav gets nervous and fumbles the snap...

[Blitz8RU]

Can Rutgers run a play like that? Fake reverses and throw to a screen.

Our OL can't block for that long

[greenknight]

Our defense sucks

[Piscataway_rivals]

I'm gonna have a f'ing strike or break something. One step forward 7 steps back. Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!

[RUSK97]

Sorry guys, I don't think we're going to blow out Michigan this year.

[miketd1]

Can they be less obvious that they are trying to funnel our talent out of state..?

[Rutgers 2004]

Not sure if that TD will stand, but that is how a real QB makes a play - something out of nothing!

apples and oranges.....other QBs get to play our D.

other Ds don't miss that sack every time, we do.

[redking]

How many whiffs on the QBs have there been this season?? RU must lead the B1G.

[brgossRU90]

I long for the days when we had fast aggressive blitzing confusing defenses

[drewbagel423]

Well, time to change the channel. Time to start thinking about going 1-0 next week.

[RU848789]

Our defense is bad, our offense is bad, our special teams are bad, and our coaching is bad. Did I miss anything?

[KeithK7624]

Why doesn't Laviano ever step up into the pocket instead of rolling out into the pressure?

Because he's a d3 qb

[Rutgers 2004]

wow, we fumbled and recover on the kickoff. some good news for once.

[TM514]

nice fumble recovery Matthews

[BeantownKnight]

Good going JG

[devoted2ru]

RU better do something on this drive. -But first, they've got to hold onto the FRIGGIN' ball!!!

[SouthJerseyRU]

Good hustle by Matthews to recover it there.

[S.B. Crumb]

F Rossi

[ru75]

Has any QB ever had more fumbled snaps than completions in a quarter before today?

[Block R]

Great special teams play by Matthews to get on that fumble

[bitnez]

Our defense is bad, our offense is bad, our special teams are bad, and our coaching is bad. Did I miss anything?

Yes we are bad fans...

[ArminRU]

How many completions does Laviano have so far?

[brgossRU90]

Rushing on first down. Brilliant.

[RobertG]

Do we only have one running play?

[trotter]

Martin would have 1200 yards rushing on another team.

[ScarletNYC]

How many completions does Laviano have so far?

0

[RUwoz]

Grant is playing a good team, therefore he won't do well

[bitnez]

We just completed a quarter without competing a pass. That's hard to do at this level

[BeantownKnight]

Kind of sad watching B1G games and being happy that we scored so I can think "at least we scored". Last time that kind of thinking occured was during the Terry Shea regime.

This is the Terry Shea regime.

[Block R]

Rushing on first down. Brilliant.

Get used to it until Rettig makes an appearance in the 4th quarter.

[Rutgers 2004]

Our defense is bad, our offense is bad, our special teams are bad, and our coaching is bad. Did I miss anything?

on the field? nope.

off the field? integrity of our coach, discipline of players.

there is a silver lining: those offending players were removed from the team, as referenced in the intro to today's game. so there's that.

[brgossRU90]

I like that we rush up the middle without any attempt to deceive opponents every single first down. It's refreshingly predictable.
