Rutgers vs UM - 1st Half Game Thread!

[TM514]

cant stand Matt Millen and his affection for Peppers. Pepper meter

[ru75]

Lav cannot release fast enough at this level

[T2Kplus10]

without carroo, CL is beyond useless

Nice job taking a sack on 3rd and goal. He can't make anything happen.

[theRU]

Unfortunately radio so delayed for me that I can't listen the Luc and watch

pause the video if you have a dvr

[RUfromSoCal?]

I have been 1000% Laviono.

Rettig better come in next series.

[ClassOf02v.2]

I know it's easier said then done, but can we run a quick slant from the 5? Dropping Laviano back ain't gonna work with our WRs getting no separation.

[RobertG]

It would be nice if lumpkin attemted to block

[RUfan]

Why doesn't Laviano ever step up into the pocket instead of rolling out into the pressure?

[BeantownKnight]

At least we won't get shut out

[RU206]

At least the D got a chance to rest.

[Blitz8RU]

there's the obligatory 3pts for the offense per game. They're now done for the day. Good job O! You can now kick back and relax! [thumb2]

[theRU]

Lav cannot release fast enough at this level

he doesnt have the arm to challenge defenders...thats the problem with him. Being aggressive allows you to change the way D is played against you, it can get you OPI calls, it change the dynamics. CL doesn't have the ability to influence the D. In fact they basically dare RU to throw and he can't

[DHajekRC84]

that's what you call a 1 play drive for 3 pts. cause other than the run there was ZERO there. Glad Federico was able to squeeze that chippie in there this week..

[Block R]

At least we won't get shut out

I'm sure HCKF is thinking the same thing. Now we can run-run-pass the rest of the game.

[RU-Choppin-Ohio]

On the Michigan TD pass....Someone explain to me why Cioffi is backpedaling deeper into the end zone when the WR is running in front of him? Where the heck was he going????

[redking]

Kind of sad watching B1G games and being happy that we scored so I can think "at least we scored". Last time that kind of thinking occured was during the Terry Shea regime.

[bac2therac]

If Rutgers couldn't get a td there how the hell will they one later

Its very evident tbat Laviano does not have the skills to lead this team to 1-0. Flood is such a failure as coach

[zappaa]

Look no further than special teams...always a reflection of your coaching staff

[trotter]

Cioffi is slow and sucks

[RUSK97]

Who handles kickoffs? No leg.

[Block R]

No way he got that first down. Need to review it.

[BillyC80]

Run D looking good so far

[DHajekRC84]

cant stand Matt Millen and his affection for Peppers. Pepper meter

maybe he can also play for Rutgers and they can re-calabrate the Pep O Meter...

BTW..I could have sworn he played against us last year? No? He's a true frosh?

[brgossRU90]

Our defense can't stop anyone at this point

[Veiox]

how many yards passing do we have so far?

[Rufaninga]

Gr8 stop!

[BillyC80]

Nice tackle!

[TM514]

I guess Peppers was Redshirt last year

[Piscataway_rivals]

Nice tackle of peppers in the backfield.

[ScarletNYC]

Laviano can't make that throw. That's why.

[ru75]

I think I hate UM more than TTFP

[trotter]

Panagos and Norries are the only ones worth keeping.

[RU206]

Can Rutgers run a play like that? Fake reverses and throw to a screen.

[RUSK97]

Gotta say Harb's OC draws up some pretty plays.

[miketd1]

dumb defense doesn't alert screen on 2nd and long

[bitnez]

71 was 10 yards down field before ball thrown

[devoted2ru]

3 & goal. C'mon D!!

[Block R]

Evidently you need Jabril Peppers on your team to run those plays. At least that's what Matt Millen thinks.

[Ru-baby]

The defense bites on almost everything and is often out of position. Pretty clear it's poor coaching. The kids are fighting really hard to make me some good individual tackles

With new coaching there is promise at this D could be decent next year

[SouthJerseyRU]

Can Rutgers run a play like that? Fake reverses and throw to a screen.

No because opposing defenses are well coached.
