Rutgers vs St John’s / Game Thread

[BillyC80]

Someone make a shot please

Exactly. If we make a couple threes we’ll be fine. Someone has to step up until it gets contagious.

[Scangg]

Not a foul on Mathis. Not a travel on McConnell .he stepped twice with the same foot and kept his pivot. Horrible call

[ScarletDave]

Playing scared. Time to get hit from the 3. We have the guys. Also play Myles down low !!! This is his game to thrive! Biggest inside threat. Dish and rebound !

[rufeelinit]

Getting exposed early. Need to pick it up all around.

[BillyC80]

So far officiating not good. Hopefully it balances out for both teams.

[Scangg]

Issa needs to step up and make a 3 and get the crowd going

[FrankZ_RU93]

Montez! Huge 2

[BillyC80]

Mathis asserting himself.

[BillyC80]

Lane violation wtf!

[FrankZ_RU93]

11-15. Let’s go!

[FrankZ_RU93]

Myles passing dimes is such a treat

[nolanpa]

Mathis attacks
I love his mindset
He’ll overdo it I’m sure - especially as a frosh, but boy, I could get used to watching this...

[RU206]

Refs. Lol

[BillyC80]

Make FTs please!

[RU206]

FT. Lol.

[JQRU91]

Freethrow nightmare.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Make FTs please.

[hbbsm713_rivals]

Free throws. Jesus

[BigAT]

Pretty luck to only be down by 4 considering how terribly they are shooting, both from the field and at the line.

[BillyC80]

We’re officially losing so far at the FT line. Damn.

[rufeelinit]

Pike better stop downplaying the FT issue. Great 3 pt shooting. Take the ball to the hoop!

[FrankZ_RU93]

Take it inside. Outside shots not there.

[BillyC80]

Need to settle down and get good shots. They will start to fall.

[Scangg]

We can't shoot this bad from 3 and at the line all game. A run is coming before the end of the half

[whofrewdatmataRU13]

Just get doorson downlow and post up their 6'6 center

[RU82]

Ice cold shooting.

[JQRU91]

This is about as bad as this team is going to play. I like our chances.

[BillyC80]

Our depth will be key st this blistering pace.

[whofrewdatmataRU13]

We can't shoot this bad from 3 and at the line all game. A run is coming before the end of the half

Our 1st halves have been mediocre first two games. What you said or a big run in the 2nd half. I am not worried

[rufeelinit]

Push the ball and take it inside. Wear them down and get them in foul trouble. Expose their lack of depth.

[ScarletDave]

I don’t understand, it’s not Haas down there we have doorson, Myles and Duke just feed it inside! Play 2 of them at once !! Cmon, gotta get the game plan right here. Amazing we are still in it

[Mr. Magoo1]

About as bad as we can play and we’re still in it. Doorson’s D is non-existent. Johnson needs to play more.

[BillyC80]

Baker! Let’s go!

[rufeelinit]

Harper pull up 3 on a break. Ugh.

[BillyC80]

Geo to Harper!

[tfio]

Let's go!

[BillyC80]

22-20 at 5:20 remaining in the half. We’re waking up!

[rufeelinit]

Pound that ball inside!

[Scangg]

Pound them into submission inside and the 3s will follow

[BillyC80]

Kiss!
