Cassius with the dagger..it was only a matter of time....43-32...this lineup is garbage, you cant have Young with Mulcahy at same time

Holy **** - somebody on this team make a layup please! Pike should be lighting these guys up Bobby Knight style for some of this. It’s costing them games.

Back to back 3s put the game away for MSU. It was that easy. Wish we had a single player that could shoot a basket. 4 points so far in the second half for Rutgers, 13 mins remain

and its not that RU is playing all that bad, its that MSU clearly isnt on tonight, this is a game for the taking. When RU loses to a a lesser team, the usual refrain is oh that team shot lights out, just one of those nights. Well tonight, MSU is struggling to make shots..ones that are open. You have to take advantage of the opportunities given to you in how a game goes.
Last year we saw what happens when RU really capitalizes in the 1st half, MSU wins going away because they're a great 2nd half team. Again, no one should be celebrating that first half

Geo has not been super effective or assertive this year but it’s clear we’ve gotta have him on the court close to 35 mins a night. Any more than 8-10 mins of Young in conference play is gonna eat this team up

Young drawing fouls and getting to the line. Has got to help. Especially when he makes the FTs.

Nice response to going down 43-32 with an 7-0 run to make it 43-39. Great TO by Pike and Young with 4 straight FTs

Harper is close. He realizes he can take guys off the dribble, just hasn't realized it's in a slasher sense and not a point guard sense

Harper trying to take people all off the dribble in settled situations is an instant turnover. Every time he tries that cross over it gets picked.

good response but it means nothing if we cannot get the lead...have to stop letting MSU go on these mini spurts. This is the time we need to really value possession...mistakes matter, everything counts going forward.
