Rutgers vs Michigan State / Game Thread

[BillyC80]

This is where we could’ve used that third timeout.

[ClassOf02v.2]

2 TOs left...

A third would be more useful.

[DruidTM]

Rutgers should have kicked FG

[ru1869]

I would still fire Ash.

[scarlet_ty_rivals]

****! I’m drained. Tired of having a glimmer of hope and getting gutted. This was absolutely a winnable game. Rutgers is cursed.

[shields]

Last two throws were poor.

[zebnatto]

McN still calling plays for the other QB

[Caliknight]

These were the worst two teams I have seen play all football all year. I haven't watched much but I was switching between this game and Alabama. It's like two different sports.

[Block R]

[bac2therac]

Gio and the seniors gave it their all..too bad they could not pull it out.

RU is whats its record says it is...1-11 with a really bad head coach that will start this mess all over again next season

[ClassOf02v.2]

Shouldn't that not be a charged TO to us with a MSU player injured?

[phlop87]

That was a horribly designed last play. Two guys in the same spot Stupid

[RUboston]

Fitting end to this season. Was there ever any doubt it was going to end this way?

pretty shocked how bad Sparty is...I mean truly bad..their qb is awful. its amazing they won 7 games

[IMARUFAN]

Gio had Blackshear WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field for a 1st down on that 4th down play. Instead he chucks it into the end zone.

Just shoot me now.

[Knightmoves]

Gio could teach Art something about throwing into double coverage on that pick.

[RU#1fan]

WTF
We waste a timeout with an injured MSU player?

[RU848789]

why are our safeties not up on the line?

[BillyC80]

Game over.

[scarlet_ty_rivals]

Gio should’ve ran it on third. Ah well.

[RUaMoose_rivals]

Rutgers needs to score 2 TDS in one game to win. Tall order

[RUdude]

and this is why Gio will keep it close but not win it for you..3rd down should have checked down to safety valve and see what happens. 4th down go for first down, not TD in double coverage

[RUTrack94]

Never a doubt! At least we have another one of those winnable games we lost ... one of these days (might take 10 years) we’ll get one!!

[tico brown]

How is that a TO on Rutgers when theres an injured MSU player on the field? Aftwr 2 minutes, MSU shouldve been charged with a TO.

[Extra Point_rivals157299]

Rutgers played their guts out

[Dpgru]

Folks, it has been a pleasure sharing the game with you.

[RUboston]

Defense played extremely well.

[RUScrew85]

Can we drop the football program now?

[Knightmoves]

None.

I havent watched a replay but that happens all the time with our routes.

No wonder nobody get open.
2 defenders can cover 3 wrs.

[tico brown]

Moot point anyway.

[RUfromSoCal?]

[kcg88]

Six guys in the box on a guaranteed run play lmao

[zebnatto]

Has Sitkowski been shown on the sideline?

[scarlet_ty_rivals]

Gio, you gave it your all. Hold your head up kid.

[RUScrew85]

YOU HAD NEARLY 2 MINUTES AND TWO TIME OUTS!

YOU DIDN'T NEED THE TD.

YOU COULD'VE GOT 3 AND 3!

Yeah tell your Senior QB that.

[rurahrah000]

Appropriate way to end the season.

[RU848789]

why are our safeties not up on the line?

Seriously, why are we even respecting the pass at all? Should have had 9 guys within 5 yards of the LOS, not 6-7.

[RUScrew85]

****! I’m drained. Tired of having a glimmer of hope and getting gutted. This was absolutely a winnable game. Rutgers is cursed.

Shut down the program.

[RUfromSoCal?]

so, 16.5 point would have won it, huh?
