What is depressing here is that Michigan St. may be YOUNGER than our team. We may be a longer way from not being a laughingstock in the league than we believe.

The best thing at the stadium next week will not be a football game but a wrestling match! Thank god for R.U. wrestling!

The difference in these games is our o lines inability to get push or stay on blocks. Likewise on the other side of the ball the other teams can.

IMO run plays need to be quicker. Play action passing game needs to be more creative.

Actually agree with you for the most part. However, even horrible players can get a little better over the course of a season. We almost look like we are getting worse. Ash's inability to "coach them up" even marginally is a little disturbing.

He was being sarcastic

The repetitive nature of poor first quarters falls squarely on the coaching staff .The lack of talent was known from the beginning of the season but the lack of player development during the season is alarming. This is becoming Terry Shea like which should be unacceptable for every Rutgers fan.

Those on here harping on the lack of talent dictating these horrendous results are just wrong. Will our present talent make us a good team? Absolutely not. Are there many teams with lesser talent that somehow manage to put together a respectable performance at least sometimes? There absolutely is. That does not speak well of this coaching staff.

The good news is it's nice and sunny so I can go on with my day. I'll just listen on the radio while I stack my firewood delivery
Ha just got done with that chore before the game. Maybe I'll start stacking for next year.

talent does not have you unprepared to play mentally and physically in the first 10 minutes of games.....being don 21-0 is more than talent. Its been a common theme of this coaching staff and they deserve big time blame for the inability to be ready to play and getting blown out from the get go

There was ZERO "player development" with the prior staff. Lousy recruiting + 4 years of ZERO player development = what you see out there now.

recruiting recruiting f*cking RECRUITING
C'mon NUTS, while our talent level is low, it's not zero and we're simply not executing well and don't seem to be that fired up either - and lots of penalties - some of that is on the coaching staff. I like them, but they're taking some lumps, too.

Stop criticizing Ash. When a team is not ready to play it's because they're not talented enough.

disagree....talent plays out over the course of the game not repeatedly right from the get go, you dont have to be down 21-0 looking like pop warner in the first 10 minutes..its on Ash

Hey Buddy have you seen any improvement? I haven't. It's a gigantic worry.
Yeah I have, nobody is beating up their girlfriends, none are stealing or robbing their fellow students, or using fake ID's to get into nightclubs, or for that matter using drugs(though they probably need something to motivate themselves). But, most importantly players are being removed from starting positions when they su*k! We just don't have any better. Because these scholarship guys are horrible! Buddy.

This is pathetic. As it was about 15 years ago, at least we have basketball. How could we fall behind 21-0 in so little time. We never seem ready to play at all. Do we do anything in practice?

Please stop. Cioffi gave up two horrible TD's and Gio threw one of the worst passes I've seen all year.
