D coach has halftime to figure out what to do with Peter's at qb. We probably don't have many options, but please try something.
Unless we can move the ball a little, they might still hit 50. Can they put another qb in ?

D was great for a quarter and a half. New QB is killing us. Plus fact our offense can’t give the D a sustained rest

Michigan was gashing us on the run from the get go. Nothing to do with being tired. 168 rushing yards in the first half (-12 from O'Korn) We're not down 21-7 because of the new QB. It's because we can't stop the run.

Agree. But now they are beating us passing too. That’s the difference with the new QB

I complain about refs and such like everyone else but I'm not a fan of shoulda coulda woulda. To move up in the world you have to consistently make plays when the opportunity arises.

Exactly. Hester had the chance. Didn't make it. They had the chance, did. That's the difference.

If Rescigno hits a wide open Grant on that fly route it's a different ball game. If Hester picks that off we have the ball in Michigan territory by the time he gets run down, and Michigan doesn't score that last TD. We have such little margin of error that those plays have to be made. When we are called for a penalty on offense, our conversion rate is close to zero. Not sure what it will take, but one thing is obvious and it's that we have to make all the plays when they're there to be made. Grant made one, but that was our one.

Agree. To win games in the B1G, we can’t make mistakes and have to capitalize on other teams mistakes. That’s where we are as a program right now.

I am really really really really really really upset. We will have no chance if this is the way games are going to be officiated. Complete garbage. That hold turned a 15 yard gain into a first and 20.

25 yard difference plus time off the clock may have been the last score.

Really crap call.

This kid is the real deal, but it would have gone a long way to getting inside his head if Hester makes that pick. But that ball had smoke on it, and hopefully he throws a crossing route that's tipped and we pick it. He has a lot to learn, but this kid has some skills.

Grants almost TD return on the kickoff, Gio not hitting Grant in stride, and Hester’s almost INT. If just one of those go our way, we’re still in this game.

I point to the Hester play because not only does it take 7 off the board for UM, it potentially would've given us 7 and it would've made Harbaugh reel the kid in. Yeah, I know, would've could've should've but damn we've played this team tough and somehow we're still down 14 at the half. Frustrating

who's censoring anything -seems to me you're trying to do that to me--but saying the games"over" before the second half kickoff is pathetic and too easy

There's a significant size disparity in the trenches, and I mean on both sides of the ball. The only way you beat this is withspeed and trickeration plays.

Our bend but don't break, lack of blitzing a 1st time starter freshman defense has given him all the confidence he needs now to tear us apart. Good job on trying to rattle a freshman early. This one's over, silver lining, much better than last year.

Play the second half so recruits will look at us and say they are the ones who can make the difference. This half is really important for that reason.

This team beat us 78-0 last year. Fight hard for 4 quarters and let's see where we are one year later.

The QB hit a few guys WIDE OPEN...we need to blitz him and make some plays. IE pick the damn ball

We are improved, we just don't have the players to battle a team with the athletes a program like UM has. They can make mistakes (we have a pick already) and not pay for them, we make a mistake (even something as simple as a holding penalty on first down), and we pay for it. It's a lot of pressure. I hope Kill sticks around for another year because another part of what I think I'm seeing is that he came in and didn't have much time to familiarize himself with the personnel. Add to this Ash's ultra-conservative philosophy, and between the players and playcalling, we are outmatched even against a struggling team like Michigan. We need to score the next TD to keep the game from getting totally out of hand.

I agree. I think it's going to be tough now. Low 20s was my upper bounds of what we could score and it would take a handful of big plays leading to points. Well they're at 21 now and now they actually have a qb that can make throws so they might not have to rely so heavily on the run against us with a somewhat complimentary/competent passing game.

margin of error is slim, with our anemic offense we need to play mistake free ball...and that punt was a big mistake that directly led to a td. Also the switch in QBs totally changed the game. It went from a nip and tuck slugfest to a game where our offense simply does not have enough to keep pace. We would need a bevvy of Michigan errors in a row to get back into this

Cole isn't going anywhere early. That was a pipe dream.

That's ours. Till the refs screw us.

Just going to let him pick us apart. Unbelievable. If you can't get a rush with 4 don't ***** manufacture one by bringing more.

wtf...sound was down. Just saw a fumble - clear as day. Put up sound just in time to hear the two a-hole announcers (Miller and the other douche) alibi for the crap refs. And Michigan is marching again.

On the other hand, come on, RU! Don't completely wussy out int he second half!! Have some f***ing pride!!
