Not trying to be a jerk kyle, but the difference between a men's league and D1 basketball is a quite the jump.
Besides we can't score, why do we keep subbing on almost every possession early in the game ? No continuity or any chance for it. Make a mistake and you're on the bench. Certainly doesn't help any of our shooters whether the shots are falling or not. So many turnovers without any defensive pressure too.

The problem is when you can’t or won’t shoot threes teams will pack in zone or man to man and dare you to shoot . While Pike says he wants to shoot 13 threes a game the problem is it makes it tougher for you to do anything inside and get penetration because the lanes are clogged . Eventually we have to make more threes or you will see crappy offense like this all year.
Also there is nothing that halts offense more than s ball stopper . Eugene hope you are seeing this . It is frustrating how bad we are in offense year after year . Pike and Karl Hobbs half to take some heat for this . We need better flow and I don’t like the wing pick and roll constantly , would rather see flow and motion and some sets to get easy baskets

Easy to see RU is just bigger and should kill them on the boards and pull away ... the 3 point reversal will take the wind out of Maine. Maine starting to look worn down. No doubt RU will win ... just shaking my head after another bad start. Before season I see a 25-30 point laugher. Looks like it’ll be 12-15 as I can’t see Maine physically hang much longer.
The way the defense plays us let's us take open 3s. Which is smart on their part. They are taking away penetration and stepping in passing lanes and letting us shoot the 3. When u can't shoot, it makes ituch easier for the defense to shut down the rest of your offense.
They did. The refs went to replay and ruled the three point shot Maine hit at the buzzer did not count.

I totally get that. But were not missing contested shots, were missing wide open, feet set shots. Those are shots d1, mens league, are the same when youre wide open with your feet set. I dont care that theres 3,000 people in the gym. Theyre easy shots
Okay, I am going to calm down and tell myself that it is not uncommon for an underdog to give a better team a good half. Happens often in both bball and football. Then, the better team exerts it's influence in the second half. Considering we were down 25 - 18. with 5 minutes to play and went on a 12 a 2 run, I will anticipate that the trend will continue. Of course, feel free to accuse me of seeing this through scarlet colored glasses.

Yes, but Fordham beat us and two weeks before that they lost to Maine in the same building. A 2-11 team can play with a .500 team in CBB anytime.

When you catch the ball wide open from 3 and you are mcconnell geo kiss issa harper i want that shot taken every time. The numbers and analytics of it just make sense. Gotta shoot to get hot sometimes. All it takes sometimes is one made 3 to get a guy rolling
I completely agree with you . if you have a wide open 3 you take it. You have to. making a 21 footer should not be a big deal . it's one thing if they're taking the 3 away but they are nearly literally begging for us to shoot
