That's a rule that needs to change. Long missed shot with shot clock expiring. Didn't touch rim. Iowa rebounds and has a run out. Nope. Now we have to inbound the ball which benefits the team that actually violated the shot clock by allowing them to regroup, set up inbounds defense, etc.

If there's a clear rebound by the defensive team the play should go on.
