14-7 Iowa.

Rutgers did a he'll a lot better than I thought they would. We beat the spread!

The next two games will be impossible to win. Lets just hope that Grant isn't out for the season.

Not happy but I do believe that we are going forward. We don't need to go 7-5 or 6-6 to keep our recruits. We had all the decommits recently because we were getting crushed on a regular basis. If we can stay at least competitive in these conference games we should be ok with the recruiting.
Listened to the game on the radio. Not on Big 10 tv until midnight Jersey time so I didn't see it. Are we better than we thought or is Iowa not as good as expected??

No moral victories. This was a winnable game and players didn't execute as well as they could have. Play calling was questionable too.

Please kill this moronic cliche, at least for the rest of the season.

We did better than anyone, including most of our fanbase, thought we would against a solid conference opponent. Not jumping off a bridge doesn't equate to celebrating a "moral victory," it equates to not being a blind, two-faced downer.

seems a bit of both, we matched up well with Iowa and their QB was not on today. Our D was markedly better with coverage and pressure. Lav had a decent 2nd half. The OC needs to know what he can do with what he has rather than what he thinks will work. Ash made some bad calls and did not work clock. Losing Grant, well...

Anyone can be better than Cioffi has been.

He has been a big disappointment this year. He looks like he is half asleep during games. If we were not so green in the secondary, I don't think he would be playing. Ash has really laid into him on the sideline.

Our QB is terrible. He is awful.

He over threw a wide open receiver down the sideline.

Threw it too high in the end zone on a crossing.

********
Won't be the first or last time you see that. Can't believe we have no one better.

We'll be WORSE next year with all the 2012 Schiano recruits gone plus recruits will be decommitting by signing day due to a poor season this year.

2018 should be better but it depends on how much talent Ash can bring in in 2017 with a down year in 2016.

Stop it. Do you really think recruits were expecting 8 wins this season? It's painfully obvious that Ash is trying to fit a round hole into a square peg with this roster. Anyone backing out now just wasn't thinking when they committed.

I thought it was a good "first B1G game" between Iowa and Rutgers. Maybe the start of a rivalry (as long as Iowa wins). Go Knights - Go Hawks!
