Scholarships are precious when you lack talent.I am sick of watching complementary type players for the last two last decades.The problem is that those type players are the only ones Rutgers can attract.
Most of the disgusting negative posts , give this team no credit. The dribble handoffs have to stop, since that causes a pick 6 and a 4 point swing. If Rutgers didn't give and I mean give Indiana the F---ing ball , we have the lead. 17-3 points on turnovers and we are down 9. Nigel has to get out of his funk and stop driving soft and giving up the ball. Corey hit him for 2 dish outs three pointers and he missed both badly, one causing a run out for Bryant's dunk. Mike got started finally by driving hard to the hoop, Nigel should do the same.. Sa and Laurent grabbing rebounds and allowing the ball to be stolen resulting in 4 more Indiana points, and the Flagrant fouls all because of stupid turnovers. Spread the damn floor, play inside out and dump the ball to CJ and Deshawn, and cut to the basket and crash the boards.
Corey Sanders is a stud. Any idiot that has posted the crap about him should go root for another team.
Finally, do not know why , but we start out well and play decent on the road away from the RAC. Do not know why, and wish we started like this at home. Root for your damn team!!!!!

I'm recording the game and just got home a few minutes ago so I went straight to live action. I watched about three minutes of play before the half and I've seen at least 4 fouls to RU players with no calls, Ok, Let em play but you gotta call some fouls. The three most notable was the jump ball called on Sa when he got hacked twice before he lost the ball and Cory, two layups. One he made and got fouled the other he didn't and got fouled. Cory really playing well. Hope we pull this one out. I don't know how bad the refs were in the first half but they sucked in the last three minutes of the half.
listen I know you live in a what if world but thats not reality...reality is after a hot start we have been outscored 37-17. Indiana is better and its not close, thats why they are winning, not because of our mistakes, we are what we are

Can you comprehend the concept of both the officiating being poor and us not playing well? Is that something your brain can understand? So sick and tired of you always saying that the officiating is never a factor until it becomes one in one of your write-ups and then it's okay.

tough, no doubt but far from impossible. Simply has to replace outgoing players with better ones.
EDIT: well its not SIMPLE, but thats what he has to do. Other coaches at other schools have done it.
its pretty tough..thats when I said this wasnt a slam dunk hire because it wasnt, Pikiell isnt the sexy name. Solid coach but doesnt come with any incredible buzz reputation. It wasnt like other programs were looking to hire him as a hot coach. And I already received blowback last time I said this...its not a knock on Pikiell..it says more about Rutgers situation and how tough it is. RU almost needs a big name coach to lure players here otherwise we are looking at a 6-7 year rebuild where there is no guarantee or slam dunk., So many steps to take and I think our fans think RU exists in a vacuum when other programs also have great coaches and bringing in recruits

Sure, they are out playing us a bunch, but the refs are still lopsided. We are down 16 as I type and it should be more like 8.
yup and this is something that RU can control....RU getting to the line...oh wait I thought the refs were so one sided....but they have left so many points and this continues the trend of missing these shots

Bac the refs are garbage. It makes no difference in the outcome but don't get it twisted.
If he can't get better players then he will have failed at his primary responsibility as HC, and he'll be fired and we'll start over yet again.
