I hear ya. I’m in Bergen county and can’t get down there on a Monday night.

I get that people are taking a wait and see attitude, but I truly believe Pike has a great thing brewing here.

I went Friday to bb game. Football Saturday and yesterday saw Somerville lose playoff game. Was shot today.

Good to see the team get back to their values on defense.

Can't just blame EMU for shooting poorly without giving some credit to the RU defense.

Team won by 25+ and still has lots to clean up. Good stuff!

was not trying to lecture anyone. Yes watching RU sports and the frustrations have made me too intense. Why I can't step foot in that stadium for now.

Trust me. I like this team and I am enjoying the play. I just believe that little extra is needed to get to next level. And they have the potential. ok. Sorry. Its the 11 years of rec basketball coaching coming out. I miss it.

Same here - will be in DC for T-giving, but will be back for the MSU game. We better be 4-1 going into that game - I like how we've been blowing out the lesser teams that we often struggled with or even lost to once in awhile. Couple that with a couple of surprise wins against the better teams and I think we make 0.500 this year. Tough schedule though.

No prob - just a minor internet argument, lol. I agree that this team has the potential to overachieve in Pike's system, but they all have to buy in to the extra effort, especially on defense, which they really did last night after a poor showing against SJU. Loved seeing the response to that game, even if half of the reason for the loss was simply an aberrant shooting night for the Johnnies (nobody should expect to go 16-28 even if there is no defense out there). And on offense, they're clearly buying in and executing very well - when was the last time we saw 20 assists on 24 buckets?
