Prediction. Going to be a lot of bad football played that day. Two sorry teams. Anything can happen.

My prediction:
Surace will start the game and will lead the team to a double digit victory.
Schiano does have an opportunity to save face a bit with Lonergan coming out of the last game and supposedly suffering some sort of injury.

If the offensive line performs the way it did vs. U Mass it won't matter who is the quarterback.
The same is true if the defense is as non-violent as it was last Thursday.
Schiano teams suck against QB-centric offenses.
Against Cinncy, Mackenzie of BC was personally responsible for 75% (35 pass, 20 run) of their 73 plays and 78% of their yardage (301 of 388).
By comparison, Watson of UMass was only responsible for 44% (22 pass, 6 run) of their 63 plays and 60% of their yardage (237 of 397) against us.

I can't even fathom a guess. I can absolutely see us winning or losing.
Who plays QB? Are we going to use our best weapon for more than 2 quarters? Is the line play going to revert to the mean? Is the defense really that bad? Will we take less than 7 penalties? Are we walking into an emotional buzz saw?
If they lose, I'm resigned to what this program is right now.
If they win, I'll be even more annoyed about UMass.
