It’s very simple...not one of our guys would start for Ohio State....hence the beatdown.
The same comment can be said about other B1G teams.Rutgers is a over achieving team at home but on the road the flaws are exposed..

Well, if there's one positive to take from this game, it's Mulcahy's offensive work. Hopefully, he'll be this productive in the future because he has been hurting us lately.

Shaq "No Opposable thumbs" Carter. Every time he brings the ball below his shoulders he should have to run the RAC steps.

Difficult to develop an inside game when the defense doesn't have to worry about defending the 3.

Well, Ohio State has been playing like garbage. We peaked early and have a bunch of wins but we were just what the doctor ordered for them. A team who forgot how to close out on shooters, makes the same stupid fouls we made in week 1, and runs a grammar school offense.

Steve Pikiell teams, high floor, low ceiling. Its gonna take alot of you years to see this unless he makes some staff changes this offseason

down 12...one last push

the problem is that RU decides to start playing the in last 8 minutes of games..its a constant on the road..gotta play for 40...cant put yourselves in huge holes all the time

Its not staff changes that are needed but rather recruiting shooters.

Nice play by Shaq, Yeboah and shot by Geo.

But also excellent play by Paul wandering out to cut off the close out on Geo. Kid has been great tonight.

If we are being honest, the team really hasn’t played well since the Iowa game (a game they played well in a lost)—maybe the Purdue game but even that game was shaky. I am worried that we are going to get annihilated down the stretch with our schedule. Going to have to win 2 of 3 at home, can’t see us winning a road game from here. Hope I am wrong though

If they would have played with this level of effort and desperation in the first half maybe they would not have been in such a hole.

We'll probably end up losing by 6 and we'll be saying if we had just done a couple of things we could've stolen it. But we've said that 7 times already.

this board is a cesspool of negative people. OSU is hot. that happens - where are all the posters that have been saying Mulcahy is not Big Ten ready
This runs deeper than running into a hot Ohio st team. They were down 18 against NW at home and barely squeaked by Nebraska recently.

Definitely not. Making the tournament is best case lol

I get that mindset. But the way we are playing I’d think
um, what?

NIT
Please just stop with that nonsense - hasn't it been enough for you to have 95% of the board call you an idiot for posting such stupidity? Are you really that much of a glutton for punishment?

We’re Rutgers fans. Aren’t we all gluttons for punishment?? Lol.

Carry on.

Then we’re going to need to win 3 at home.

The thing is Ohio State is not even that great. The fact we are in this game proves that, they seemingly dominated Rutgers tonight the whole game and are up only 9.
