Announcers making a good point about not being able to deal with foul trouble due to the lack of depth due to injuries.

Announcers made a good point about Eddie not using time outs and Thad Motta using timeouts for team to get a good look at basket and score during scoring draught.

Yeah that was a good point. Nice to see someone else receptive to the broadcast.

Showed improvement ... For a second there I thought we were coming back ... Sanders looked good ... Maybe we sneak a win in the next few games

OSU had a great rebounding edge along with Sanders being the only RU player to shoot well
The Buckeyes defensive rebound total was more than RU got on both ends.
Size does make a difference and it's hard to make a rush at the end when you're worn out.

Boylan commented on post game about Williams defending kids four inches taller. Hurts him on offense because he uses a lot of energy on d. Think people forget this with only 7 players.

If Grier hits a few 3s, we could've won the game.
Very simple we make 2 more of the 10 open threes and they make 2 less and the spread disappears. If Ru makes 5 of the 10 missed open layups Ru wins easily. The defense by 2 players today was nothing short of horrendous . The rest of the team played as hard as they could, did not give up..They really could have used 2 players to not play some of their worst ball of the year.

Sanders was a joy to watch and Williams had a very good defensive game. Lack of depth due to all the injuries hurt us again today and it was pretty obvious that they were exhausted during the last part of the game.

Some of the negatives are still happening but I saw a team of seven players playing their heart out. With all the adversity and losing, these guys never gave up and actually looked like they were enjoying the game. They have fight and are not just going through the motions. Not sure if Eddie is the answer or not but he has not lost the team. These guys deserve our support!

I'm amazed that we have 2 pages of posts but not one person bothered to tell us what the score is/was.

We missed a lot more than 10 easy layups. That is what killed us and cost us a win. They were 9 of 23 from 3 and we were 2 of 18.

Rutgers foul shooting also contributed to the loss.Bottom line Rutgers lacks scorers

Maybe try to start a game thread and talk about the game?

1st post - bad atmosphere
2nd post - bad attendance (back to back; same post basically)

3rd post - complain about the dj (is that not part of atmosphere)

4th post - joke about extending Eddie
5th post - joke about next years potential conference record

Do we need this every single thread including one you started on this game? Maybe your game thread "privilege" should be revoked...

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the game, supporting the players, and checking in here throughout to see what people are saying about THIS GAME.

Lol

Please don't insert facts into the discussion. Do not mention 2 of the 7 players did not show up, one because he couldn't give a **** ,and another who was just awful in every way except at the foul line. ,

We were outrebounded 46-33, plaguing RU again in the loss. I know the injuries are a factor here.
