Our shooting form is horrible. Every single dude on the team shoots unbalanced.

We are in serious need of an almost complete roster turnover...hopefully its coming next year
Bac you are seriously bipolar when it comes to this. The game Saturday made you more enthusiastic then ever and now you've given up. I predicted this. I was there Saturday. Too soon to come back from that kind of letdown. Welcome to our second WTF loss this year.

I like Pikiell...I however have been consistent that this group of players will do nothing but be a foundation...I have no illusions of making post season with these players...they will be long gone...dont know what your expectations are for this group

Wow, we go from a great defensive performance against the #10 Wisconsin to this abomination. Looking at this roster I wouldn't be surprised if Pikiell let's at least half of this team walk. We know we need shooters. We also need finishers around the basket. Tonight so far (we are down 22 with 11 minutes left) Freeman has become almost a liability when trying to score and several of our big men are a waste of space.

And they don't even have their best player tonight. My god!

You had this one down as a win Bac. Based on Saturday. You said the last few games showed you something. You had expectations for this season.

As much as I love Pikiell, he needs to answer for this abomination. Yes, we know we can't shoot the ball, but to not play tough defense and rebound against these skinny kids from Iowa?

BTW Bohannon is only 6' but can shoot lights out from the outside. Hmmmm. I think we need about six of these guys going forward.

In practice every time Freeman misses a FT or a layup, Pikiell needs to make him run wind sprints. He's been absolutely pathetic tonight.

I think Freeman is hustling, but he struggles to finish in traffic against size and at the FT line. Let's see how the team responds next time out (as in - next game, not after this time out).

Thiam still hasn't learned the speed of the college game. That's why he can't hit the broad side of the barn. When he's alone he probably makes 80% of those 3 pointers. But in games the speed of it speeds up his shot and it's nowhere to be found.

Freeman's game would be perfect at a mid-major. But in the B1G he's getting his a$$ kicked down low.

Dadika and Williams are the only ones on the floor playing with any energy.
Problem with this is that Dadika is afraid to take a shot. If he got some confidence he could start.

And **** me if Jordan didn't set the program back so far. If Pikiell turns this thing around a statue is in order, and a block party organized by @RU4Real.

I couldn't agree more. Jordan basically stole money from the school and didn't do ****. Both he and Fudd, really set both programs back.

Expectations? I thought it was possible to win 2-3 more games...thats not setting high expectations. .you would be hard pressed to find many posters here calling me optimistic...

If RU loses the rest of its games this year, will you guys consider this a good first season for Pikiell? Is the bar just being not as much of a catastrophe as Jordan?

You have been noticeably more optimistic the last few games.

YES!!! Pikiell is a damn good coach. We need shooters and finishers. If I were Pikiell I would allow at least half of this team to walk. I don't know if he can get another shooter as a freshman, but he needs then to go the juco route at least for now. Geo Baker, coming in can shoot from the outside and inside. Tonight's freshmen kids from Iowa were all 3 stars except for Cook who is a 4 star player. But it was the three star kids who were shooters and shot lights out tonight from 3 point land. Pikiell brings a few of those kids in and suddenly this team will win more than they lose.

So, exactly when does the staff plan to get serious about recruiting a shooter or two? No, Baker is not a B1G shooter.

When Rutgers doesn't have a good defensive performance games like this are the result. There is no margin for error because the offense is so inept and Iowa was making 3 pointers easier than Rutgers was making a layup. This game was over after the first ten minutes and fans sat there watching with amazement the utter futility on both ends of the court.
