Not counting garbage time shots, a 20-point win over a ranked team AGAIN ?!? Amazing when Geo and Ron show up, we can’t go WRONG !!

Now that was an Elite 8 looking 2nd half by RU!!!

Great job!!!!

One step closer to the dream ... get that win versus Michigan!!!!
Now keep in mind.. to do a second half like that you have to be FRESH enough and have enough fouls to give to handle it. Managing minutes and effort is a part of that. No one could do that the entire game... though we may have just seen R guys come close.

Amazing 2nd half and game overall. Super proud of them. Wow.

1 thing that annoyed me end game. That last touch again by McConnell getting stuck soft playing up the sideline. What is his issue?

Paul M steppibg up nicely and great use of Carter. Amen. Another team win.

You are right there! N it just a team who can make the tourney. But a team most won't want to play.

post game interview question: "your defense hasn't been great the last couple of games but they were great today.. why?"

Some will say we are in now. Many will say 1 or 2 more. The discussion will continue until Sunday in March. But I will enjoy this amazing victory! A sold-out RAC sees a 15-point win over a ranked team, amazing

Outstanding win led by 27 points by Harper.Starting Carter at center turned out to be a good move because it kept Johnson out of early foul trouble. The last 10 minutes of the game Rutgers took complete control stifling Illinois on defense and making big buckets on offense to win by double digits.Once again a big shout out to the crowd who kept cheering fight down to the last play of the game.Harper,Baker and Yeboah in double figures.18-8 record along with 9 wins in the B1G move Rutgers to fourth place in league ranking. With five games remaining in the regular season Rutgers is getting very close to the NCAA finish line.

Great team win. Defense was excellent. Ball movement was outstanding. A few people hitting shots, especially Harper. If we shoot like that we can beat anyone.

RAC was ROCKIN!. I thought ILL played well but got taken out by crowd in second half. You couldn't even talk to the person next to you during some of those defensive possessions.

Saw this interesting note about our loss at Illinois ... sweet win today.

“The last time the two teams met, neither team could buy a bucket, as Illinois shot its lowest percentage in a win in 40 years.”
