Scarlet and Black plaid tops with white bottoms. Somebody mock it up I'm telling you it'll be a hit. Maybe an argyle alternate. Not joking.

Anything but the old, stale unis from Schiano era.. Love our helmets now, just a few tweaks needed

Those retro unis look too much like Indiana, Wisconsin and Nebraska's unis

gotta agree here

I do like the old school look... But we need our own Identity and the Schiano uniforms just look like nebraska/wisconsin/Indiana knockoffs now. We aren't the only red team in the conference and We can't look like pretenders.

No matter what we do with the rest of the uni, scuffed chrome knight helmets at home should stay. The block R should stay too.

i'm really not picky, i love almost all these concepts. My only concern is looking unique.

Old-school & tough while also sleek & modern:

Appropriate too since Chris Ash came from OSU (ie: Herbert "Fritz" Crisler brought over Michigan's famed winged helmets from his previous stop at Princeton).

Oregon's red spring game jersey is pretty sweet if we don't want to look exactly like Ohio state, Wisconsin, Nebraska, rest of B1G.

I agree we can be unique if we have scarlet uniforms with black numerals with white outline. Sort of like the classic Chicago Bulls Road Uniforms.

BLOCK numbers! And NOT the 49er shadow thing.

NO gray!

ALL WHITES for away games (Including the helmet with a RED R)

The rest we can figure out as we go along...like a flag R for Academy, Veterans Day or a 9/11 game.

Don't we have a define font for sports teams? Not sure which I prefer, the block numbers from 2005 or the rounded from 2009. But both beat the sword invisible numbers.

I am actually a fan of putting "New Jersey" on the away uniform especially if you keep the block R on the helmet.

I know the Chicago Fire did that a few years ago with their kits. Looked really nice.

I like these A LOT. Just slap an "R" on those helmets and change the ALL AMERICA to the "RUTGERS" on our current unis and we're pretty much all set.

Just curious if folks at the game could read those numbers...

You're forgetting that we need a scarlet set. That's just blackout and road right there, and in a lot of ways, it's the same as our current unis.

Take Texas Tech's throwback template. Swap the orange for scarlet and the TT logo for the block R.

Add a scarlet top and white bottom to the set.

Clean, classic, distinguishable, & "tough", uniform.

Would add our school shield to the sleeve to add color/variety and to go with the "knight" theme, but subtle and actually appropriate:

I think my favorite part is the shield idea. It'll never happen, but I like it.

Since we're moving to Adidas, I think this thread is once more relevant. What do you want to see out of the new Adidas deal? For those new to this thread, most concepts are one the first page.

I'll be honest, I really like this concept. Use the proper block R, proper RU font, reverse the leg stripe, and the proper knighthead...I think it's a winner.

Some really cool concepts in this thread. (Note: "To be clear: each helmet created is intended to be an alternate helmet, used for one game, possible more during the 2017 season.")

All bad. Everyone of them.

If this is what we can expect from Adidas going forward I can why so many have voiced their concerns.
