Another joke poll . Any poll that has Virginia, Northern Iowa, Rhode Island, Smu, Oklahoma, St, Mary’s and Florida getting more coaches votes than Rutgers is just mindless and a huge anti Big 10 bias. Show me the 3 wins over ranked teams by double digits of those teams. There are none. The road losses are not blowouts like every one of those other teams have suffered including Rhode Island just last week being hammered by Dayton. Rhode Island and Smu have none. Virginia has none but did beat FSU at home by 5 . Northern Iowa has none but has a 3 point road win at Colorado , Oklahoma has 1 , a 10 point home win against West Virginia but nothing else. St Mary’s has none except a 40 point win over unranked Arizona State,in December , but lost by 10 to Dayton and by 30 to Gonzaga and a close 3 point OT win over BYU. Florida has 1, a 22 point blowout of Auburn , and a halfway decent 13 point win over unranked South Carolina, but losses by 12 to FSU, by 14 to Butler, by 11 to Baylor besides losing to Utah State by 3 and LSU by 2. Florida has 5 votes and the only one that should be even remotely close to Rutgers in receiving votes.
Ok. Only look at the negative which is not so negative Quad wise, and let’s forget the positives. Thank God your opinion will not be shared by any committee members.Sorry, I disagree. Great Year 4 for the staff but a team with one road win and losses to St Bonnie on a neutral, at Pitt , and to UMich in a virtual home game in MSG doesn’t deserve to be ranked ... or in the NCAA. Need to win a road game AND at least one in the B1G tourney to earn a bid.
