That's just not enough. They can't play huge minutes and stay out of foul trouble if we attack and go inside. Gonna see some non scholly players on the court if fouls are in issue for sure. We should wear them down

If we shoot more than 10 threes, Pike should be fired. Just kidding, but you get my point - pound and pound and get them in foul trouble and wear them down. Just hope the team isn't under a Thiam hangover, still, and comes to play.

Let Harper take the 3s.
Everyone else hit the boards!

FOUL THEM OUT, and WEAR THEM OUT!

As soon as we think we "should" win is when we crap the bed.

This team went on a run last year in part because we were underdogs in every game. When we "expect" to do well, we never do.

Rutgers a +1.5? Seriously? Man, we just get no respect. I believe if our kids have their heads on straight, we should beat Nebraska by at least 10 points.
Agreed. Just not sure the team's collective psyche is where it needs to be right now to play tough, smart, hard-nosed basketball, after losing someone many players have said was such a great teammate in such a shocking manner.

The difference last year was Sanders liked the bright lights of MSG and was a go to scorer which is lacking this season.

Insulting to be underdogs to a team that is 3-11 down the stretch, with those wins being a one point home win over a mid-conference team, a nine point home win vs. the last place team, and an overtime win against a team that came in reeling. Our team needs to come out fired up and take it to the Huskers.

Going to probably see lots of that Icelandic kid with 7000 letters in his name. From what I’ve seen, he can only go left.

A lot of people here thought the Penn State line was garbage too. Turned out to be right on the nose.

Bart has NEB -3.5

Palmer, Watson and Roby are pretty good players. They scored 73 points last game. Fair disclosure it was Iowa, Bac, Shack and I could go for 50 vs. Iowa (or Wake Forest for that matter). Need only 2 more.

More so than anything I love RU team over 68 points. Nebraska wont be able to defend. Not because they cant but simply because they cant afford fouls.

The only item of note is Glynn Watson is an excellent defender on the ball and Palmer is capable of guarding as well.

This is a bench game and will come down to whether Caleb and Baker can score against Watson and Palmer. And I think Mathis can do a good job on Palmer.

Harper vs Roby should be a wash.

Can Eugene generate offense in the post, hobbled on 1 leg??

RU can win even if Eugene or Baker don't have a big night....i don't think Vegas thinks so. But any production out of Baker and Caleb should equal a win....

I don't believe that's true. Everyone here knew that PSU was playing great BB coming in.

At +1.5 we would only need a 2 pointer at the end instead of a three.
Advantage RU.

I cannot fathom why any Rutgers fan would have the confidence to put money down on us. In any sport.

RU was +2 at The Book. Passed since it was a even number. Those who didn't feel like this now: :flush:[sick]:boom:
