It's impossible to hit him in stride because he's 5'8" and slower than most DB's. He's playing up to his talent level. A quick, midget receiver with average hands and mediocre top end speed. He's also a below average route runner.

And yet we tried to get him the ball what 15 times a game? Why?

He is 5’8, he’s gonna have to stretch for passes. And he is 185 lbs he is going to get killed running the ball.

Somehow the added height rarely seemed to help our taller receivers this year it seemed.

OK, I thought there was some sort of locker room/team dynamic you were alluding to. I disagree about us not using him well, I think we use him masterfully, honestly. I do agree about the accuracy of our QB being a big issue.

Then would you agree that our inability to get him the ball in space forced us to get it to him between the tackles too much? Do you think that is good for the long term career of a guy his size?

Go to the board of a team you like.

Says the nerdy fanboy who signed up here less than a year ago. Sorry buddy but as quick as he is the guy is very overrated on this board by uneducated fans like you. He's too small to be a consistent gamebreaker. I never said he wasn't good but him deciding to leave the current sh** show in Lincoln is not going to make or break this team (nor will it at any other school he lands). If someone wants to quit being a Husker then I don't want them anyways, you can go ahead and cry all you want though.

I think we got him the ball in space. We schemed him into space with swing passes, etc, but weren’t able to get it to him downfield much, which is a problem. I don’t have an issue with him getting carries between the tackles. It’s not like he got 20 of them a game, it was just an handful and those were some of his biggest plays.

There are deeper/cultural reasons why many of these guys are leaving (some after just a few weeks in the program) - if posted most would claim fake news

Do you know of any Nebraska fans that might know of these reasons?

I would say if he is leaving the program it was definitely a problem.

Him leaving would be a problem and not having an accurate QB is a problem, a much bigger problem than this one player leaving. But if that was the issue, why would he go to a place with an even worse passing attack?

Also, I don’t get the usage issues. How can you be sure him getting some carries between the tackles was an issue for him? He does get touches and is productive here.

Looks like he is tired of losing
Is there something official? Sucks if true.

If he’s tired of losing he could always be a leader and be part of the solution. But with some of the schools being rumored as transfer destinations, I’m not sure that is the reason.

If Wandale leaves it has nothing to do with Frost. The kid just wants to play his last year closer to home.

I don't blame him. We've prioritized getting him the ball but he's been severely miss utilized. Wan'Dale's skillset is perfect for playing in space yet we use him like a power back.

I'll be sad to see him go but I think he deserves to play in a scheme that showcases his strengths.

With as many guys that keep leaving, I'd love to know what the hell is going on?

The receiver recruit from hawaii said Frost promised him jersey #1 if he signed with Nebraska in February in an article I read on another site.
I saw that too. I figured he must be playing defense, but maybe it meant Frost knew Wandale was gonzo.

Players are leaving everywhere look at Northwestern, we'll probably never know why he left. That moron jlb is just making **** up to stir the pot.
He is talking out his *** for sure, but I would love to know what the hell is going on. Maybe this is just the college football world now, but it’s crazy the amount of talented skill guys we have lost.

Throw enough **** at the wall some of it's bound to stick. Wandale leaving has been rumored several times. Keep on with your obsession though mouth breather.

The rumors have been out there for over a year, you don’t provide anything other than that. If you have something else to share, of actual substance, go ahead, but I think we all know you don’t.
