Amazing story. Thoms and Brooks Bryan were some of my favs when I was in college and this really speaks to how awesome those guys were.

Also, that strike 3 call on Brooks Bryan in '98 to end the game is still complete ********.

Funny story - I was a few rows behind Rusty. I was wondering why a guy was wearing an old MSU hat that didn’t fit his head. Figured it was good luck. Now I know the rest of the story.
