Worst trade of all time?
KC fan here, I was legitimately concerned when the Broncos signed Wilson. Obviously not so much now. He did play well vs. the Chiefs until he got concussed. Of the games I’ve seen him play this year, that one he seemed to go all out and looked somewhat like his former self. However much of the time in the other games it seems like he’s half-assing it.

Russ is straight up trash. Nobody saw this coming.
How could you have not seen it coming.
He was really only successful when he was on his rookie contract...when the Seahawks could afford sold players around him.

I told my nephew who was a huge Broncos fan, that I would rather have Drew Lock than Wilson and that it could be a trainwreck in Denver this year

Personally, I think they should have canned the person who orchestrated the Wilson trade.
In the press release, the new owner said he would lead the search for the new HC and will be evaluating all phases of the football operations. The GM will be gone soon enough. Especially if they go after Jim Harbaugh.

I'll go a step further here. I see Bryce Young as a QB that looks a LOT like a young Russel Wilson. If the Broncos could have just stood pat for a year they could have packaged a few of the same players to trade up and get Young with the first pick in 2023. They would still have Bradley Chubb as well. Add in a couple OL, a WR, and RB and suddenly this is a very good team by 2024 with years of good things yet to come. Right now the future could not look bleaker for a long time.
