It sounds like he's admitting that the players and recruits did do the deed but it isn't their fault that adults set it up for them. So isn't this an admission that it all did happen?

Prisoner to judge...."Yes, I participated in the bank robbery but it wasn't my idea to do it and I didn't drive the car to or from the scene of the crime....therefore, I should not pay a penalty for my part in the crime".

Russ Smith another under developed by Pitino..other than UL fans, who really gives a crap about anything he has to say about anything. NCCA made their ruling, it is time for UL and Company to man up and take their medicine.

You're old enough to vote but you're not an adult. You're old enough to volunteer to fight for your country, but you're not an adult. Gotcha Russ. One last question: Can you really trust a coach who banged a woman on a restaurant table? Oh, I see. RP15 is your role model. Do what you want, take no responsibility.

Two problems with Russ statement:

1- One of the adults he talks about is an agent of the University of Louisville basketball program. So the program is culpable. He talks as if both these adults are just random people off the street.

2- Hey Russ: if you knew how upset CRP would be if he had known this crap was going on, then why didn't you ever tell him?

Louisville has admitted it happened

That's what I don't get. The only charge they challenged were those against Rick Pitino. Considering the small 5 game suspension, and the fact that their know the result of using ineligible players is forfeited games, I don't understand why they'd even appeal.

What did they think was going to happen after they admitted they bought hookers for kids?

So in the article he tries to say nothing happened and they didn't want anything to do with paying prostitutes. He then goes on to say if Pitino knew what was going on he would've stopped it. What a dumbass, tries to deny the accusations against the team and against his coach and in doing so he contradicts himself and loses whatever shred of credibility he may have had. Russ spoke out a couple months ago saying that the NCAA shouldn't take the banner down. at the time I and many others on here believed that indicated the banner coming down was very much on the table.
