I saw this come across twitter and thought I would put it here as well. If Nebraska has an opportunity to run up the score on anyone this year who would you like it to be the most. No mercy. If we are up 40+ with 5 seconds left, on the 5, we are doing our best to get another TD. Obviously if we have the opportunity I think we need to do it to every team this year. Nebraska needs to make statement this year if they can. Not only for the sake of getting recruits, but also to send a message to every other team in the BIG that Nebraska is back.

Ohio State or Wisky would have the biggest impact. But since Ohio State has been blown out in consecutive years by Iowa and Purdue (clemson too)... I'll saw Wisconsin. Would be huge.

From a personal side of things. Iowa is the easy choice. They are some of the most loud mouth, arrogant fans I have seen. I would love nothing more than to destroy them 70+- 0 . From a competitive standpoint and proving we can hang with the best Wisc and Ohio St. Cu I really don't care as long as we win.

I voted for Ohio St.

Wisconsin has been a good program recently. Colorado and Iowa have been average. If Frost blows out all four programs, it will be Ohio St that really gets people on the Husker train!

That my logic too. Seem like there is more to be gained by blowing out a team like Ohio St than a team like Iowa. We blow out a team like Ohio St, people, and recruits around the country take notice. We blow out a team like Iowa nobody notices outside the states of Iowa and Nebraska

I get the point of this poll, but if we're up 40+ with 5 seconds left and try and score we deserve whatever bad things happen to us after that.

Iowa then Wisconsin. Ohio State has been piss pounded in each of the last 3 years, so it is either Nebraska or Michigan that will do it this year. I would honestly like to be CU on the last play of the game just to make it hurt a little more.

Iowa and Wisky just don't get blown out so it would feel a little nicer to put on on either of those two.

My days of wanting to see NU run up the score are in the past. I just want to see us comfortably ahead and the third team looking like as much of a well-oiled machine as the first team.

Ah, who the heck am I kidding. I just moved back to Nebraska from Colorado. I'd like to stomp the Buffs.

Eff that. Let's run the score up on everyone. I'm tired of letting crappy teams stay in the game.

That is a good point, they really don't. They play a style of offense that is slow and methodical. It allows their D to control and minimize opposing teams points.
Wisc for sure is much hard to run up the score on. I went and looked over the last 10 years. Wisc has lost by 2 TD or more only 6 times. Not sure I would even consider a 2 td loss a blow out. Biggest blowout was 59-0 from Ohio St. They by 25 from Alabama. Those 2 were the biggest. However 3 of those 6 happened last year.
Iowa it happens more frequently. Over the last 10 years they have lost by 2 tds or more 13 times. With losses of 24, 27, 27, 29, 37,24, and 25.
So you are correct the odds of us winning against either by 30+ is pretty slim.

Wisconsin lost by 22 to Minnesota last year.
But generally they don't.

tOSU suckeye's would be the biggest statement especially if both total 0 losses going into the game - but that is way down the road for this group today, they need to keep what they have healthy before we worry about much more than winning game 1.

In the Big 10 a win is a win. Run up the score on Colorado and their cheap shot players. It they can run up the score on Colorado I'll feel better about the season.

Wisconsin. They had our number, even before Mike Riley. Iowa didn't. To win the West, we need to own Wisconsin.

Wisconsin. Those games have been more embarrassing to watch than any others.....of course not making OSU punt in some 6 quarters of football is pretty dang embarrassing as well.

Just win baby.

More than simply running of the score, I'd like us to be able to win while getting reps for our 2nd and 3rd stringers. It's more important for the players to gain valuable in-game experience for next year and the following year than it is to grab a headline that comes and goes in a flash.

In the glory days, TO was able to do both. In the end, building a deeper and more experienced roster is more important to me.
