I can’t even take you seriously.do you think martinez will end up at the patriots or tampa bay?
lol
I guess what I'm saying is we won 3 NC's in 4 years running dr. Tom offense
(I don't count solich cause solich made us 1 dimensional because dan and buck fumbled alot, so it was crouch left, crouch right, lord left, lord right (crouch and lord should get an award for toughness).
enter bill c. he actually was the best pass happy we had, because he had ganz, and porkchop.
and since then I have watched qb's named martinez who are not designed for pass happy.
I think the best we have done since pass happy bill c. is a holiday bowl whale trophy....
so I ask myself whats better? 3 NC's in 4 years
or a holiday bowl whale trophy since billy c?
so I ask for a return to Dr. Tom's offense...but understanding negotiations, I understand that I may not get all I want, and have to give some........so now we see frost is giving some working on the option....so I'm ok with that....it beats watching martinez throwing an expected swing pass...
You aren’t at the freaking table negotiating, just like @antirowboat isn’t actually providing a list of potential head coaching candidates to anyone in a decision making position.
I haven’t been a fan of how Frost is running his offense for the past 3 years. That wasn’t the offense that got him the HC job at UCF and not the offense that led him to be considered for high profile jobs after UCF.
I have repeatedly posted that Frost’s teams are going to be 58/42 run pass. If Nebraska wanted something different, they should have hired a coach that runs option and doesn’t throw the ball but 10 or 11 times per game. Or hired a defensive coach and had him hire an OC that runs that sort of offense.
Since they didn’t, I fully expected Frost to run the offense the he spent the better part of a decade running as a coach, not come in and run an offense he ran for 2 years as a QB.
If you thought he was going to run Osborne’s offense then that is your problem.
