reading up on things, I am not so sure that CVS last two years are guaranteed. As for Jordan yes he can be bought out, my issue is that Rice is preordained as replacement. That's bollocks and any news is certainly not going to be broken at Monmouth in early January

For some reason I also recall that the back end of the current CVS contract may not be guaranteed. I never read the actual terms of her extension, but could it have been 2 years guaranteed with the final 2 years at RU's option ?

If so then she is vulnerable at the end of this season. But this is just speculation at this point.

30% guaranteed after 2 years, 50% after 3rd year..
I believe Stringer and Herman would have sat down after this season and decided if Vivian should retire or wait . Now Hobbs will be doing that , but Julie made the extension RU friendly.

Men's team is a much bigger priority to fix. Women's team is at least competitive with most teams and NCAA worthy. I do agree it is time for CVS to consider retirement for a number of reasons, ie. declining team performance, quality of recruits declining, can 18 yr olds relate to CVS anymore, may be time just to hear a new voice, etc.

The women have the same lack of facilities the men have. Any talent and success the ladies have is 100% due to having a HOF head coach.

Once CVS leaves the women's program will go down hill very quickly.

If Hobbs decides to replace CVS he only needs to make a short drive south on Route 27 to hire the next WBB coach. Courtney Banghart ( love that name) at Princeton has a 72% winning percentage and has won the Ivy League 5 straight years and done well in the NCAA tourney. 37 years old and 2015 Naismith National Coach of the year. Would be a slam dunk hire for RU WBB.

Stringer needs to go. When was the last time we beat St.John's? Someone who values girls who can shoot the ball.
