How the **** does Jules turn it over with 12 to go??!!’

Nice win but I agree about Jules giving it up. He is doubled in a man up situation and tries to split the double when there has to be an open man to pass it to. Unless his team mates abandoned him, no way Lehigh should have gotten a final opportunity.

Year 7, season on the line and you’ve got a one goal lead and a man up. All you need is to drain the clock. Instead, your senior star gaks up the ball and you have to sweat out a win at Lehigh. So much for the kids coming out with their collective hair on fire and focusing from start to finish. Cuse will be, uh, interesting to say the least.

Jules regressed IMO. He's not good at the X, and when moved back to the top of the offense he makes idiot mistakes. There's no reason to turn the ball over with the game on the line.

This team is nowhere close to preseason expectations. There are major issues. This is not an NCAA team. Its extremely disappointing, and I have no idea what the issue is. Across the board, our guys are not playing to their ability.

This. Mullins needs to be the playmaker X guy (very good HS quarterback) and Jules needs to go back to his role as a frosh (clean up guy around the crease). Jules is much more effective in that role. Midfielders need to get more involved on offense. Trasolini, Toliver WTF??? Overall an excellent road win in the windy cold against a very good team. Kudos to the coaches and players.

Trasolini didn’t play. Toliver is a defensive midfielder so outside of unsettled situations from D to O, he isn’t playing offense.

Good write up and Brecht sounds satisfied with a tough mid week road win as we all should. Jules maybe an off night but nice stuff on Mullins.

"Jules Heningburg, maybe a little quiet"

This season is what it is and we all had a ton of expectations coming in but now I'm hoping for incremental steps in the right direction starting with W's. Gut out wins and start putting the smaller pieces together. Need others to step up because we have a monster on Sunday at home.

**Trasolini will be out again against Syracuse

The talk that Heningburg has regressed is just a reaction to him having a bad game. He is a great player and in my humble opinion certainly the best attack on our team and it is not really close. He makes great feeds from X look routine.

We talk a lot about how we miss Adam and we are not meeting expectations and I think we need to acknowledge that we underestimated the value Connor Murphy added to this team.

I believe that Heningburg benefited a great deal from playing with Charlambedes. IMO he has not been as good since.

That looks to be in correct as Mullins clearly is playing better and Henningburg appears to hold the ball far to long for an offense that wants quick fast ball movement.

I disagree unless you are basing your opinion on 1 game. Kieran had a quiet start to the season and he has really come on the last two games while Jules has had consistent production the whole year with yesterday being the first game Kieran distinctly out played him.

Let me be clear, I am not pulling for any individual on our team. I hope they all have 8 point games but I think it is short sighted to say Jules has regressed.

Did he benefit from having Adam on the field? Absolutely.

Thought he had a very sub par year last year. Way too many unforced turnovers--forcing the ball & overall poor passes. Overall steadier this year for the most part.

BTW looking at the play again where Jules lost the ball in a double team, it did look like his teammates didn't do the best job of giving him an outlet.

Really, it looks like Mazzone is right there and open, this has knod of been Jules weakness for the last couple of year's. Simply the idea that the ball has to be in his stick to win. Make no mistake he is a good player but we are better when we move the ball quickly and he is an excellent finisher, as you saw in the video. But sometimes the ball just dies in his stick, it is like a PG in basketball who dribbles for 20 seconds and then tries to make a play. I would not say that he has regressed but, i would

Nonsense. Jules is playing extremely well. He will be an All American again. The turnover at the end wasn’t good, but I would need to see what the other players were doing. Unless you were there, it’s impossible to comment. Someone should have been open. Was the field spaced properly?

Jules and Mullins are playing off each other. The staff asks a lot of both of them. And hey are delivering, it’s not just about points, which Jules has a lot of. It’s also creating opportunities in other ways, which they are both doing for each other. Neither is having monster days without the other. It’s a team game guys.
