college athletes should be able to take a bus to all conference games.

1950 was almost 75 years ago. High level athletes play (even including cheer) play in tournaments all over the country from a young age. Parents pump a lot of money and time into the training that is needed to help these athletes (and even athletes who might not be as good) develop. HS age players like Dylan are travelling all over (even internationally) to play. Doesn't make it right or wrong, just makes it the way it is.
