They lost to #62 Appalachian State. It could be worse. They could have lost to #96 Ohio U or #68 Marshall...

I'm going to have you read that again and ask yourself if you should honestly be using those stats to defend your argument?

The once proud Ears who 'used to' play for BCS bowls and such, are now relegated to defending a "quality win" over a team who is now going to ranked (LOLOL...if you're going to even call it that) probably in the 70's.

I'm curious, If it weren't for Sagarin, what other ******** numbers would you use to argue about how the WVu football program isn't in the *******. Spare me the comparison to Marshall. It's completely irrelevant. We are not in your conference, nor have we played for years. The focus is on your beloved mountainERRs who mean everything to you. They are absolutely abysmal and you know it.

The fact that I rub it in your face is what pisses you off so much about it.

We don't have to defend the win. Nobody is questioning what we are in the college football realm outside of the small group of inferiority complex ridden meth heads from Huntington.

We aren't the ones calling it a quality win, you are the one calling it our marquee win of the season. However, you are criticizing the win as if it was ... say ... #190 North Texas, and it isn't that either.

We are simply pointing out exactly what the win was, that isn't "defending" it. If you were at all capable of having a factual conversation you would realize that.

Considering it is a Marshall fan criticizing the win in that game, it seems perfectly acceptable and understandable to compare it to what Marshall is doing this year and who they play. If, however, you were a VT fan, it would be completely irrelevant what Marshall is doing relative to this win.

wvu is well on it's way to finishing its 4th consecutive season unranked. That will be the second longest drought since 1975. Just keep shouting all is well, just like Kevin Bacon in Animal House, as you get stampeded into the ground by the Big 12 crowd.

For the record, the longest period you have gone not ending ranked since 1975 is 8 years. You'll match that at the end of the 2019 season and then I'll dig back further to tell you your next milestone.

Here's the difference between WVU and Marshall. Nobody ... NOBODY ... associated with WVU is saying "all is well". Dana is likely on his way out because this is unacceptable by our standards.

On the other hand, Marshall is perfectly happy going year after year after year unranked, while occasionally popping into the rankings by playing absolutely nobody with a schedule. Finishing at #23 is a great year for you guys.

We play better competition and we expect more ... things Marshall has no desire to even attempt.
