Good win. Didn't wilt at the end. When the defense is there everything is better.

I was (happily) wrong about this game. That was the Sanders and Freeman I've been wanting to see all season.

I was just reading some posts on a Wisconsin site and you would be amazed at some of their thoughts. They felt Rutgers couldn't match up with their guards and Happ would destroy every Rutgers front line player. Happ is good, but he has little help in the frontcourt. Also, he seems to have trouble with athletic big men. Rutgers had more than enough to throw at Happ without worrying about another Wisky front court player being a major threat. Now, back to the guards...really?o_O Wisky backcourt is nothing to write home about. Rutgers had a clear advantage and that was the difference in the game.

Im sure this has been said before, maybe not, but Our guys are better shooters than people might realize/ the numbers might indicate. Because we have missed so many layups, and practically are no threat to drive to the cup except for maybe sanders and baker, teams dont even bring help defenders on most of our drives. If we can make more layups, which I would argue is our biggest and most frustrating weakness, we will make more jumpers. Even in a great effort today we missed a ton of layups

That's the same thing the Wisky fans on their site were saying. They assumed Rutgers couldn't shoot and were shocked to see so many mid-range shots go down. For most people perception is reality.

“Their guard”??? What guard? That was Happ and a bunch of slow guys that shoot like us.
They saw Rutgers on the schedule and just thought they only had to show up. IMO, Wisky may have to worst backcourt in the B1G. It seems anyone can take them off the dribble. They don't play sound defense or handle on the ball pressure thrown at them.
